I’m Saddie, pronounced “Say D” but spelled “Sad Die” which is quite befitting for my life. I am the protagonist of this story, the leading lady of this movie - put simply: the writer of this blog. I’m a 27 year old Latina living on Long Island, New York. A proud Scorpio with an Aries moon made of 50% hazelnut iced coffee, 25% tattoos & 100% song lyrics. I’m also terrible at math.

 

Someone once asked me who my top 3 artists were & it’s the most important question anyone has ever asked me. If there’s one thing you need to know about me it’s my love for all things Machine Gun Kelly, One Direction, & Bad Bunny. No Benito slander will ever prosper around me.

A professional tentologist, concert lover & lover of all things Christmas. Music is my love language. I'm obsessed with the color olive but hate olives. I don’t trust people who don’t like dogs & if my dog doesn’t like you then I definitely don’t trust you. I’m sorry, I don’t make the rules.

When I first started this blog, everything around me was changing - not just with my body but with what I was experiencing. I created BeingSaddie as a way for me to document those changes so I had something to look back on. It’s a personal space where I can share my experiences with mental health, wellness journey, all the things I love & just trying to be a better human in this world.

You can catch me live tweeting my mental breakdowns, my love for Bad Bunny & the shit that actually goes on in my day to day life. At any given time you can find me thinking of what poem I’m going to write next about the loml, wondering if butter is a carb, or debating whether or not everything is actually funny or if I'm just using laughter as a defense mechanism ... I’m working on it.
