Hiii friend!
I’m Saddie, pronounced “Say-Dee” but spelled “Sad Die” which is quite befitting for my life. I am the protagonist of this story, the leading lady of this movie, the main headliner at the show - put simply: the writer of this blog. I’m a 30 year old plus size Latina from Long Island, New York. A PROUD Scorpio with an Aries moon & Sag rising with a Libra venus - a true passionate lover girl, through & through. Made of 50% chocolate, 75% Sopranos quotes, 25% tattoos & 100% song lyrics. I’m also terrible at math.
Someone once asked me who my top 3 favorite artists were & it’s the most important question anyone has ever asked me. If there’s one thing you need to know about me it’s my love for all things Machine Gun Kelly, One Direction, & Mac Miller. No One Direction slander will ever prosper around me!
A professional tentologist, concert lover & lover of all things Christmas. Music is my love language. I'm obsessed with the color olive but hate olives. I don’t trust people who don’t like dogs & if a dog doesn’t like you, I DEFINITELY don’t trust you! Sorry, I don’t make the laws of The Universe.
You can catch tweeting about my therapy sessions, my song of the hour, & the shit that actually goes on in my day to day life. At any given time you can find me thinking of what poem I’m going to write next, wondering if butter is a carb, or debating whether or not everything is actually funny or if I'm just using laughter as a coping mechanism ... I’m working on it.
When I first started this blog, everything around me was changing - not just with my body, but with what I was experiencing. I created BeingSaddie as a way for me to document those changes so I had something to look back on. It’s a personal space where I can share my experiences with mental health, dating, my wellness journey, all the things I love & my thoughts as a reformed people pleaser. I’ve made it my mission to enjoy MY life MY way, while trying to be a better human in this world. I pride myself in being my most authentic self & hope to leave people better than I met them.
Welcome to my life!
